Cavpower is proud to be a ‘Duke of Ed Employer’. The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a structured youth awards program aimed at 14-25 year olds and operates in over 140 countries around the world.
Cavpower recognises the valuable life skills achieved by completed the The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award and the invaluable life skills it presents for young people. We strive to harness the value of the The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in our recruitment and staff development programs.
To earn an Award, each young person must learn a skill, improve their physical well being, volunteer in their community and experience a team adventure in a new environment. Participants are supported and mentored by a network of adult Award Leaders, Assessors and Supervisors.
