• Simple, bolt-on extensions offer a maximum paving width of 6.0 m (19′ 8″)

Easy Adjustment

    
• Screed operating consoles are equipped with mix height adjustment for the augers that provide material flow modification. When equipped with Cat® Grade Control, conveyor ratio adjustment (conveyor material height) can be performed through the display

    

• Auger and tow-point height adjustments provide versatile setup options for the screed operator

    

• Optional power control for screed crown enables operators to quickly manage mat profiles

    

• Tamper speed adjustment is available with the multi purpose mix-height, tamper speed, and vibratory speed control dial; tamper speed adjustment helps modify angle of attack and eliminate transition lines between the main screed and extenders

    

• Optional power end gates easily accomodate paving depth changes

Smooth Material Flow

    
• Screed plate depths of 324 mm (12.8″) on the main and extenders are designed to provide stability and good mat textures

    

• The proportionally sized auger chamber and rear mounted extenders are designed to provide smooth material flow for consistent mat quality

    

• Proportional control extenders offer smooth adjustment when transitioning paving widths

    

• Screed operating consoles are equipped with mix height adjustment for the augers, providing the ability to modify material flow

    

• The heated end gate option helps prevent material from sticking for better edge profiles and joint matching capability

Quick Heat, Even Distribution

    
• Belt-driven, tractor mounted generator delivers fast heating screed plates for quick starts

    

• The electric heating system with zone monitoring keeps the operator informed to enable even heat distribution and smooth asphalt textures while also allowing heating to continue in the event of a temperature sensor failure

Cat® Grade Control Option

    
• Cat Grade Control is a factory-integrated leveling system that helps remove irregularities from the surface and control mat thickness for increased production, lower operating costs, and higher profitability

    

• User-friendly system with text-based displays, split screen-mode, and on-the-go sensor selection

    

• Precise control is driven by the 10-point auto-calibration for true averaging with 5 transducers in each sonic sensor, and the cross coupling feature that maintains slope  requirements more consistently when changing elevation
