EQUIPMENT COMMANDER - MANAGING EQUIPMENT LIFECYCLE
Equipment Commander has been developed on a web based platform to allow access from anywhere and is a fully integrated software system for managing and monitoring heavy earthmoving equipment.
The system is broken into 5 main areas and each area contains multiple modules. Using these key areas, any equipment can be managed over its entire life cycle.
CONDITION MONITORING
Condition Monitoring is one of the main areas within Equipment Commander. It is the use of different analytical tests to determine the condition of components. These tests are designed to specifically identify certain conditions and then in turn indicate:-
- The condition of the component
- The condition of the oil lubricants in the compartment
- The next possible maintenance event
OIL COMMANDER
Oil Commander is the first module available within Condition Monitoring. Oil Commander is a complete web based system for managing oil samples through the laboratory process and allows you to view the status of your oil sample(s) and view the detail or full history in either tabular format or graphically.
The system also incorporates a message log to manage all communications about each sample result. Actions taken are also recorded in a log enabling tracking of the actions with regard to solving particular problems with a sample.
The entire system is configured for exception management using colour coding and is the foundation behind the design of all the other modules within Equipment Manager.
Oil Commander allows you to perform the following functions:-
- View the history of all samples for a compartment; tabular format or graphically, along with laboratory comments, and compare different equipment of the same model
- Record the actions taken against a sample, view the current status and any images stored
- Forecast next samples due and manage the warranty process where oil samples are a requirement and pre-register the samples for the equipment site
